Tourus loudspeakers use the largest HF voice coils in their class. Tourus-AX12 models use a 1.75" coil which is unique at this price point.

This custom made Wharfedale Pro compression driver delivers crisp and precise high frequencies, even at extreme volumes.

The internal amplifiers have been tuned specifically for the HF and LF drivers that we have chosen. This makes for perfect power and frequency transfer, resulting in the sonic experience that you'd expect from a Wharfedale Pro active loudspeaker.

We were not kidding when we said that Tourus has 'multiple inputs'.

Also - Tourus has handly EQ knobs to control treble and bass.

These are 'simple to use controls' but, with +/- 12dB of control, this can make a huge difference to the output timbres.

The two amplifiers inside a Tourus are extremely efficient.

So efficient that they can use convection cooling. This means that there are no fans!

Fans inside loudspeakers can add to operational noise, weight, price and can lead to reliability issues. Tourus has no fan!

The Wharfedale Pro 1202 FX/USB is a USB mixing desk complete with effects and adapts itself for all kinds of audio applications, including live sound for small to medium sized bands and performers and for recording using a computer in the home or project studio.

Most 12 channel mixing desks tend to have a much larger footprint than the connect series. Aimed at bringing hands-on mixing to a portable solution it has a 3 band EQ on the first four channels. This is perfect for producers at home who want an audio interface yet they still like getting hands on, applying EQ and FX at the initial point of recording. The first 4 channels offer phantom power too, for using high quality studio condensor mics.

The FX-Logic built-in proccessor offers a total of 56 effect algorhythms. These include room, plate, hall and gated reverb, chorus, flanger, rotary speaker and delay. On selecting your effect of choice this can be meticulously blended adjusting the FX send for adding a subtle room reverb on a vocal to a long lasting dub echo on a guitar.

The built in audio interface 16 bit / 48 kHz CD quality recording. A stereo feed can be sent to your computer for using on popular recording software packages including Ableton, Logic and Cubase and installation is easy with plug and play operation. As well as recording, the USB interface means you can feed audio to the mixer which is perfect for those bands using a backing track or for laptop based performances with MIDI controllers.

All in all the 1202FX/USB is an extremely versatile mixer.
