The Denon DJ SC Live 2 is a complete standalone DJ solution right out of the box. Using the built in Engine DJ operating system, simply connect the SC Live 2 to your WiFi, log in to one of the available music streaming services and you’re up and running.

Even if you haven’t got a subscription or any music ready, the SC Live will have some demo tracks built in and that’s not all. You won’t even need to connect any speakers to it, the SC Live 2 has them built in, perfect for home mixing and monitoring a live stream.

The Denon DJ SC Live 2 uses built in wifi to connect to music streaming services and for the first time, this includes Amazon Music Unlimited. Chose from 100 million songs and get a free trial to see if it’s the right service for you.

Also access tracks from Beatport Link, Beatsource Link, Tidal, Soundcloud Go Plus or your own collection in DropBox.

Use the 7” multi touch screen to browse and load tracks as well as view waveforms and FX selections. The intuitive control lets you swipe up and down to scrolls, left or right to load and prepare tracks and pinch to zoom in on waveforms.

When used with software the screen gives you all the information you need so you won’t even need to look at the computer. The SC Live 2 unlocks Serato DJ Pro and seamlessly integrates with Virtual DJ.

Play your own music directly on the SC Live 2 from USB or SD card. The on board processor will handle analysing the track including BPM, beatgrid and key. For larger collections you can prepare your tracks on a computer with the free Engine DJ software.

The SC Live 2 has everything you need to mix creatively. Each deck has 6 inch jog wheels, full length pitch faders, 4 performance pads and looping controls. The mixer section features sweep FX on each channel with a choice of four effects. The beat effects are simple to use with an easy activation button and controls.

Engine OS can also control DMX lighting as well as Philips Hue lighting as well as NanoLeaf fixtures over wifi. Autosync your music to the fixtures to create great light shows perfectly matched to your music.

The buzz has officially begun starting with the new and exciting Engine 3.1 update! With an array of new features, exciting things are happening. The new Engine 3.1 update offers DJs freedom like they’ve never had before, from interactive touch FX to creating your own unique Smartlist.

Touch FX - interactive touchscreen control of FX
New Main FX for Denon DJ Hardware - over 25 new and enhanced FX (many of the same FX featured on the RANE FOUR)
Smartlists - automatic song lists can be created based on specified criteria or rules 
Sampler Updates - audio can now be routed to any channel or Main output and the Sampler Mode can be accessed by double-pressing the Roll mode button on hardware (previously you could only access by pressing Shift and Roll)
New FX Frequency Slider - allows effects to be applied to a focused frequency range

Touch FX
Use the touchscreen to control and interact with FX in a whole new way. Swipe in any direction to instantly create build-ups, drops, and transitions. Touch FX options include Filter Echo, Filter Reverb, Filter Roll, LFO Echo,  Filter Dub Echo, Filter Gate, Noise Gate, Flanger, LFO Filter, and Filter.

Sampler Updates
Sampler audio can be routed to any available channel or the Main output and can now be accessed by double-pressing the Roll pad mode button.
New Main FX. Over 25 new and enhanced dynamic FX options for Denon DJ hardware including Echo Out, Swell Verb, Hold Echo, Recycler, Stutter Out, Riser, Pitch Down, Scale Down, Reverb, LFO Verb, Reverb Drop, Reverse Reverb, Reverb Rise, Flanger (-), Beat Break, Backspin, Brake, and Roll.
 
Smartlists
Automatically organize songs from all connected drives into playlists based on the criteria or rules that you specify. To create a Smartlist, click the Smartlist icon on the Collection folder or right-click on an existing Playlist and select ‘Create Smartlist’. You can easily turn a Smartlist into a regular playlist by right-clicking the Smartlist and choosing ‘Convert to Playlist’. This creates a Playlist with the same name & content as the Smartlist.
