Built in an elegant aluminium scratch resistant cabinet, DLA is an active steerable array system that provides exceptional intelligibility in highly reverberant environments. The characteristics of the lobe radiation directional controls, the high SPL, the HI-FI frequency range, the elegance and overall dimensions, make the DLA system particularly suitable for high quality voice reproduction even in acoustically challenging environments whilst the aesthetics compliment any environment.The ability to change the vertical dispersion characteristics is ideally suited to reverberant environments where the audio is able to be digitally steered to the audience and away from reflective ceilings and floors. It is also invaluable where different dispersion control is required at different times, for instance where tiered seating is periodically used and the audience's listening position changes. When using the software connected through network cable, multiple scenes can be programmed and these recalled at the touch of a button.Designed to be used independently or as part of a larger system with multiple DLA 804 or used to extend the low end and increase the SPL of the DLA 1244. Both DLA models have a dedicated SUB output to extend performance at low frequencies. The DLA system features a RS-485 network connection for total control through PC. Wall mount installation is possible with the the supplied bars.

DLA804A is composed of 8 x 100mm (4") full-range column loudspeakers matched with 8x50W Class D power amplifiers with switch mode power supply. Designed especially for voice reproduction, DLA804A has a frequency response from 120Hz to 10kHz. It can be used alone or as an addition to the DLA 1244A in order to provide further low end extension as part of a system.
The beam steering characteristics allow user control of directivity of the audio minimising reflections in difficult audio environments. Control can be programmed remotely using RJ45 network or via rear panel controls. Vertical steering provides control from +20 degrees to -30 degrees and the beamwidth of this dispersion characteristic from 10 degrees to 40 degrees.
Multiple DLA804A modules can be used together in order to extend the SPL and the minimum control frequency as well as to reduce beamwidth of radiation lobe.
The PC-slave position allows control and configuration via PC (with FBT USB-RS485 Converter). RJ45 connectors for RS-485 network data configuration via provided software. Power connection through Neutrik Powerconn.
