myDMX Buddy ist eine verkleinerte Einstiegsversion von myDMX 2.0. Außerhalb des Pakets läuft die myDMX-Software im eingeschränkten Modus: 3D-Visualizer, Easy Remote, Midi-Funktionen oder Stand-Alone-Modus (die Stand-Alone-/Szenen-Taste von MyDMX Buddy) und andere Funktionen wie die Steuerung von 512 DMX-Kanälen über MyDMX Buddy können als Upgrades unter www.dmxsoft.com erworben werden. Der Dongle wird direkt an einen 3-poligen DMX-Eingang Ihrer Leuchte angeschlossen. Der Dongle wird über eine USB-Verbindung mit einem Computer verbunden.
