Description

The dBTechnologies OPERA NONA 212 is a powerful quasi-3-way active loudspeaker designed for live performance, DJ applications and portable PA systems where extended low-frequency response and high output are required. Its acoustic design combines two 12" ceramic woofers with a coaxial mid-high-frequency driver, delivering controlled 90° x 60° coverage and consistent sound across the listening area.

A 1000 W RMS Class D amplifier provides up to 132.5 dB SPL, while integrated DSP with linear phase FIR filters helps optimise the system for different applications. Seven selectable presets cover Club, Vocal, Bass Reduction, Playback, Bass Boost, Wedge Vocal and Wedge Playback configurations. Two independent balanced combo inputs allow microphones, instruments and playback sources to be connected directly, with individual sensitivity and level controls for straightforward operation.

Two independent input channels feature individual sensitivity switches and level controls, allowing microphones, instruments and playback sources to be managed directly from the rear panel. An output routing selector provides additional flexibility when integrating the speaker into a wider PA system. The system also includes a ground lift switch to help manage unwanted ground-related noise when connecting multiple pieces of equipment.

Portable and Install-Friendly Design:
The OPERA NONA 212 combines portable handling with several options for positioning and installation. Its polypropylene enclosure incorporates three handles, with two positioned on the sides and one on top, making the 22.5 kg cabinet easier to move and position. A D36 mm pole mount supports standard speaker stand configurations, while three M10 rigging points allow the cabinet to be suspended in suitable installations. Two wedge angles provide flexibility when the speaker is used as a floor monitor, with dedicated Wedge Vocal and Wedge Playback presets available to complement these configurations.
