Der PDI09 kann zwischen einem Effektgerät oder Verstärker und dem Mischpult angeschlossen werden. Der PDI09 ist nicht für den direkten Anschluss an eine Gitarre geeignet. Integrierte Filterschaltungen simulieren den authentischen „Lautsprecher“-Sound. Der Ton kann zwischen „Mellow“, „Normal“ und „Bright“ variiert werden.
