Zu den 128 voreingestellten Animationen und Symbolen gehören eine integrierte Uhr-, Countdown- und Datumsfunktion mit Zoom-, Bewegungs-, Wellen-, Zeichen-, Rotations- und Farbeffekten.

Der Galactic 1K20 ist über DMX, ILDA und Master/Slave im manuellen, automatischen und musikgesteuerten Modus steuerbar. Es wird mit einer Tastatur, einem Interlock-Anschluss und einem Interlock-Schlüssel geliefert und eignet sich aufgrund seines 60-Grad-Scanwinkels mit Zoomfunktion sowohl für Kurzdistanz- als auch für Fernanwendungen.
