Description
The ADJ Lighting Jolt Panel FXIP is an innovative multi-use strobe / wash / eye candy fixture. It is equipped with 800 x 0.5-Watt RGB SMD LEDs for colour strobe, wash and eye candy effects, as well as 48 x 5-Watt white SMD LEDs located in the centre of the fixture to create the traditional look of a strobe. Both types of LED are grouped into independent controllable zones (6 white and 40 colour), allowing for the creation of eye-catching animated chase patterns. The Jolt Panel FXIP’s massive light output is specifically designed for large stages, nightclubs, live events and touring.
Building off the success of the original Jolt Panel FX, the new Jolt Panel FXIP features upgrades that will help Lighting Designers add a new level of creativity to their lightshows. The fixture is IP65-rated for temporary outdoor or indoor use. ADJ’s proprietary Aria X2 wireless DMX is built-in to each fixture (it is also compatible with ADJ’s WiFLY EXR wireless DMX), which allows data distribution to occur wirelessly. There is a channel system on the front of the unit that allows for light shaping filters to be easily and conveniently added to the fixture. These filters blur the pixel dots and provide designers with another creative way to change the effect from project to project.
The Jolt Panel FXIP offers users an easy way to navigate the built-in features from an LCD display with a 4-button menu system. The display allows users to change dimming modes, dimming speed, programs, colour macros, LED refresh rate and gamma settings, as well as setting the DMX address and channel modes. The rear panel has conveniently located IP65-rated 5-pin DMX in/out connections along with IP65 locking power in/out sockets to daisy chain power. There are also holes to connect an omega bracket to the Jolt Panel FXIP as an alternative to its variable angle bracket.
Light source: 800 x 0.5-watt RGB SMD LEDs and 48 x 5-watt cool white SMD LEDs. Beam angle is 73° and field angle is 111°. RGB LED wavelengths are red 620–630nm, green 515–530nm, and blue 460–470nm. Cool white LEDs have a typical colour temperature of 7400K (range 6900–8000K) and 472nm. CRI is 69.4. Average LED life is 50,000 hours.
Features include Aria X2 wireless management, 40 RGB LED zones (available in 126, 141 and 143 channel modes), and 6 cool white LED zones (available in 51, 81, 83, 126, 141 and 143 channel modes). There are 67 built-in colour temperature presets from 2300K to 8900K, 25 RGB program macros, and 9 cool white program macros. The fixture is IP65-rated for temporary outdoor or indoor use. It includes a channel for light-shaping filters and holes for connecting an Omega bracket (sold separately).
Control options include DMX, Aria X2 and RDM. There are ten DMX channel modes: 6, 9, 13, 18, 36, 41, 51, 81, 126 and 141 channels. Six dimming modes are available: Standard, Stage, TV, Architectural, Theatre and Stage 2. Four dim curves are provided: Linear, Square Law, Inverse Square Law and S-Curve. The fixture offers 0–100% smooth dimming, strobe, shutter and pulse control with a maximum strobe rate of 20Hz and a minimum of 1Hz. Refresh rate ranges from 900Hz to 25kHz. The unit includes an OLED display with a 4-button touch menu.
Connections include IP65-rated locking 5-pin DMX input and output, and IP65 locking power input and output.
Electrical specifications: multi-voltage operation from AC100–240V at 50/60Hz with auto sensing. Maximum power consumption is 208W at 230V, and up to 12 units can be power-linked at 230V. The unit is fuse-protected with a T5A/250V glass fuse (5×20mm).
Dimensions and weight: length 417mm, width 280mm, height 213mm, and weight 9.1kg.
Included in the box: one IP65 locking power cable and a diffusion filter.
Optional accessories include the 180mm Omega Bracket Hydro (SKU 9900026435), Jolt Panel FX BLKF, Jolt Panel FX 1×60 LF (60×1° beam shape filter), and Jolt Panel FX 60×1 LF (1×60° beam shape filter).
