Description

The BRITEQ BT-NODE 285 is a professional high-speed Art-Net and sACN node designed for advanced DMX networking in lighting installations, theatres, touring systems, live productions, and event environments. Featuring eight fully configurable DMX ports with professional 5-pin XLR connectivity, the BT-NODE 285 provides flexible network-to-DMX conversion and distribution within a compact 1U 19" rackmount chassis.

Each DMX port can be individually configured as either an input or output, allowing the node to adapt easily to a wide range of lighting control applications. Output ports support single, HTP, and LTP merge modes, while input ports operate in standard DMX input mode. The unit also supports IP merging and RDM over Art-Net functionality for enhanced remote configuration and system integration.

Configuration and monitoring are handled either through the integrated web interface or directly via the large front-panel graphic LCD display with rotary encoder navigation. Designed for both fixed installations and rental environments, the BT-NODE 285 also includes automatic Ethernet bypass protection during power failure and PowerCON-compatible power linking for simplified rack integration.
