The JBL 305P MkIII is a powered studio monitor for music creators, engineers, and content producers. Its redesigned 5-inch low-frequency driver reaches down to 45Hz, while the 1-inch silk dome tweeter extends to 38kHz, helping you hear detailed highs and controlled bass when making mix decisions. JBL's Image Control Waveguide provides 120° x 90° coverage for consistent monitoring and precise stereo imaging, whether you're working at the sweet spot or listening elsewhere in the room.

Four onboard DSP controls also give you 81 room-tuning presets, so you can adapt the monitor to desktop, stand, or wall placement. And with 86W of bi-amplified Class D power and up to 109dB peak SPL, there's plenty of output and headroom for demanding production sessions.

Get controlled bass down to 45Hz
The redesigned 5-inch low-frequency driver provides bass extension down to 45Hz at -10dB, giving you greater low-end information from a compact studio monitor. JBL's double-flared Slipstream port is designed to reduce air turbulence, helping your bass remain clean and controlled across different listening levels. The woofer also offers higher output and lower distortion than the previous JBL models. Together, these features help you judge kick drums, bass parts, and the overall low-frequency balance of a production without taking up the space of a larger monitor.

The 305P MkIII gives you four onboard DSP controls to adjust its response for different rooms and positions. With 81 configurable combinations, you can compensate for boundaries and tailor high- and low-frequency response to your setup. Dedicated HF and LF adjustments provide -2dB, 0dB, and +2dB settings, giving you practical control without requiring additional processing. This makes the monitor adaptable to home studios, control rooms, edit suites, and immersive production spaces.

Keep plenty of monitoring headroom
The 305P MkIII uses separate 43W Class D amplifiers for its high- and low-frequency drivers, providing 86W of bi-amplified power in total. It can reach a maximum peak SPL of 109dB while its low-noise amplifier design supports critical listening at quieter levels too. A balanced Neutrik combo input makes it straightforward to connect compatible studio equipment, while the 100–240V AC input supports a broad range of mains supplies. The ported 15mm MDF enclosure measures 320 x 175 x 250mm and weighs 5.3kg, keeping the monitor relatively compact for desktop or stand-based studio setups.
